June 27

Shoplifting was reported from Macy’s in the 2000 block of N.W. Allie Avenue.

Officers came upon the scene of an assault near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Maple Street. The suspects fled. The victim was taken to a hospital with facial swelling but no serious injuries.

June 28

A homeowner interrupted a burglary in progress at his residence in the 5000 block of S.E. Cascade Court. He discovered a male fleeing his residence and then a second male climbing on his roof. They were in possession of bags and masks. The homeowner held the suspects – two juveniles -- at gunpoint until police arrived.

June 29

A 60-year-old woman was arrested at Grocery Outlet in the 300 block of S. First Avenue.

June 30

On five different occasions, unknown suspects have cut holes in a chain link fence to access McKay Creek Golf Course in the 1400 block of N.W. Jackson Street and steal pop cans.

At Albertsons in the 800 block of N.E. 25th Avenue, officers responded to a report of a man entering the store, walking up to the pharmacist and presenting a note demanding all their Oxycodone and a bottle of Ambien.

July 1

A bike was stolen overnight in the 1700 block of S.E. River Road.

There were traffic collisions near the intersections of 229th Avenue and Campus Way, Grant Street and Cornell Road, Oak Street and First Avenue, and Baseline Street and Third Avenue.

A rental car was not returned and reported as stolen.

License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of N.E. 13th Avenue.

A cell phone was stolen from near Brookwood Parkway and N.E. Cornell Road.

A man reported some opened up credit cards using his name.

July 2

A 31-year-old woman crashed into a car at the intersection of Tualatin Valley Highway and Century Boulevard. The victim summoned her to the Taco Bell parking lot, where the woman crashed into another parked car. The woman exited her car, was belligerent and uncooperative, and decided she would drive away before police arrived. She was tracked down at her residence and lodged for hit and run and driving under the influence.

July 3

At an apartment in the 800 block of N.W. Fieldcrest Way, residents were home when three males forced open the door and stole marijuana. They left a backpack at the scene.

A car parked at Old Chicago Restaurant was broken into and a laptop was stolen.

July 4

A 25-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant.

A cargo box trailer was broken into in the 2900 block of S.W. Cornelius Pass Road and tools were stolen.

A camera and GPS system were stolen overnight from an apartment in the 300 block of N.E. Autumn Rose Way.

Landscaping materials were stolen from the 6500 block of S.E. Wrenfield Street.

July 5

A Coleman generator was stolen from the bed of a pickup in the 1400 block of S.E. Spruce Street.

A laptop was stolen from a residence on N.E. Alexandria Place.
