Your rose garden could make you a winner
The Royal Rosarians, ambassadors of goodwill and official greeters for the city of Portland, have announced the opening of its 76th annual Rose Garden Contest.
The contest promotes greater appreciation of growing roses and honors the citizens who help beautify the Portland area through their rose growing efforts.
John Linngren, owner of Lake Oswego Ace Hardware, is the chair of this years Rose Garden Contest. The contest is open to all rose growers within 20 miles of Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, as verified by electronic mapping systems. No garden club membership is required to enter.
