Kevin Timmins

Timmins receives principal status at Otak Inc.

Otak Inc. announced the elevation of Kevin Timmins to principal status within the company. Timmins is a senior water resources engineer working out of Otak’s office in Lake Oswego.

He spent his 13-year career at Otak serving as project manager on numerous public projects in Oregon and Washington, including the award-winning Cedar Creek Culvert to Bridge project in Sherwood and the East Lents Floodplain Restoration in Portland. Timmins has also served as chair of the Water Resources Committee for the Oregon Chapter of the American Public Works Association for nine years.

Vanderford joins TraneOregon

John VanderfordJohn Vanderford joined TraneOregon as sales leader for the building automation systems division. Vanderford will oversee the development of long-term customer relationships, maximize account penetration and maintain customer retention with building owners, contractors and consulting engineering/architectural firms throughout Oregon and southwestern Washington.

Vanderford is a Lake Oswego resident. His career in building automation systems spans more than 25 years. He was recently a principal at Smart Buildings Inc. In years past he held management positions for Control Contractors Inc., Power Engineers, Manful Curtis Engineers, Johnson Controls and Honeywell.

Vanderford earned his bachelor of arts degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Washington. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Oregon Society of Healthcare Engineers and Association of Energy Engineers.

Bank of America names Rich as small-business banker

Bank of America recently announced that Douglas A. Rich has been appointed small-business banker for the Lake Oswego, West Linn and Oregon City markets. In this position, Rich will visit businesses on-site, consult with small-business owners and assess their companies’ deposit, credit and cash management needs and provide personalized attention.

Rich comes to Bank of America with 25 years experience in financial services. He previously worked as a relationship manager at U.S. Bank, First Citizen’s Bank and Shorebank Pacific. He also brings client focused expertise from the software, business consulting and foodservice industries.

Rich resides in Lake Oswego where he chaired the city of Lake Oswego Natural Resources Advisory Board and remains involved with the youth lacrosse program.
