New clinic will provide routine and complex gynecological services

Legacy Health has significantly broaden its services to women in the south metro area with the opening of a comprehensive new women’s clinic in West Linn.

The clinic is a satellite location of Legacy Medical Group — Surgical Oncology. It offers gynecologic, mammography and cancer services as well as direct access to Legacy Health’s network of medical and breast health centers.

Legacy Medical Group — Women’s Specialties, formerly known as West Linn Women’s Clinic, is welcoming new patients and accepts many different health plans.

Legacy Medical Group — Women’s Specialties provides routine health care services, comprehensive family planning, menopausal management and on-site mammograms and ultrasounds. The clinic’s team also addresses more specialized health concerns including in-office gynecologic surgeries, evaluation and management of pelvic pain, pelvic prolapse, incontinence, transgender care, abnormal menstruation and abnormal pap smears.

“Legacy Health is thrilled to bring this level of expert care directly to women in the south metro community,” said Duncan Neilson, M.D., chief of women’s health services. “Choosing a gynecologist is one of the most personal and important decisions a woman can make. Legacy Medical Group — Women’s Specialties’ all-female team understands this fact and is committed to combining the cutting edge, coordinated and convenient care women need with the true personal touch they deserve.”
