Christoper Freeland has opened Steel Bridge Insurance at 450 First St., Suite E in Lake Oswego. Freeland grew up in Lake Oswego and graduated from Lakeridge High School in 2001.

Campo named senior VP at Bank of Oswego

Susan L. Campo was recently named senior vice president, chief financial officer for the Bank of Oswego. Campo began her duties at the bank’s flagship location in Lake Oswego in May with leadership responsibilities centered on the area of banking and financial operations.

Campo co-founded Northwest Bank in 2005 and served as its executive vice president, chief financial officer, overseeing that bank’s eventual merger with Western Capital Bank in 2012. She previously held local positions with Intel and U.S. Bancorp.

Areas of expertise include financial accounting, regulatory reporting, compliance, and liquidity management.

Clark named Director

of Tennis at Stafford Hills

Stafford Hills Club has hired Steve Clark, PhD as its director of tennis. He brings more than 30 years experience in the tennis industry as a player and coach at the collegiate, professional and club level.

Clark coached in the NCAA for more than 25 years, 17 of which were at nationally recognized Division 1 University of California, Irvine. During that time Clark’s teams were ranked as high as 16 in the nation with individual players ranked as high as number five in the nation. Clark himself was an All American, number two NCAA player.

His teaching philosophy includes teaching young players how to pursue everything they do with excellence, good time management and personal responsibility.

The Bank of Oswego recognized for longterm ICBA membership

The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) recently recognized The Bank of Oswego for its ten years of membership with the organization. The ICBA is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of the nation’s more than 7,000 commuity banks.

SCORE email marketing workshop offered

SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is offering a workshop titled Email Marketing: Making it Work for You on Sept. 18 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the George R. White library, room 120 at Concordia University, 2811 NE Holman Street in Portland.

BCA launches program to connect business leaders to art, culture

Portland’s Business for Culture & the Arts (BCA) is launching a new program to help professionals get hands-on experience with the greater Portland area’s arts and culture organizations. This new Associates program is geared to 21- to 40-year-olds who have an unexplored interes in arts and culture. For the program’s inaugural year, BCA will select 100 professionals to attend art and cultural events, learn civic engagement skills and find pathways to become active in the arts.

The Associates program will run October through May. Application deadline for the program is Sept. 16. BCA is hosting a mixer to learn more about the program on Sept. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Raven & Rose, 1331 SW Broadway in Portland. Diamond Tea to honor female entrepreneurs
