Manselle appointed to WL chamber board

Levi Manselle, business development specialist for Clackamas Federal Credit Union, was appointed to the board of directors of the West Linn Chamber of Commerce.

The board’s role is to advise on chamber policy and development programs that provide networking, resources and solutions to help local businesses.

Manselle is already involved in the community of West Linn. He volunteers with the annual Take Care of West Linn Day and teaches financial literacy at Three Rivers Charter School.

Weberg receives award for exceptional achievement

Eric J. Weberg, AAMS, of the financial services firm Edward Jons in Lake Oswego, recently won the firm’s Jim McKenzie Award for his achievement in building client relationships.

Fish Marketing adds director of public affairs

Fish Marketing, owned by Lake Oswego resident Doug Fish, has expanded its client services with a new public affairs department led by Karen Tolvstad.

As director of public affairs, Tolvstad will help clients build alliances with their stakeholders and facilitate meaningful public process. Her specialties are issues management, community engagement and crisis communications.

Prior to joining Fish, she held executive postions for both corporation and government clients.

New members named to chamber board

The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce Board Development Committe and the Board Nominating Committee has presented a slate of candidates to fill 2013 to 2016 vacancies.

New board members include Ashraf Molvi of Molvi CPA; Ramsey Zawideh, owner of Baja Fresh; Erin Preston of Insightful Marketing; Derrick Ollar, Ollar Photography; and Bob Martinsson of Glance Optics and Eyewear.

Outgoing board members include Laura Adler, Erin Charles, Jim Franceus and Steve Steinburg.

Magnuson featured in Shared Wisdom calendar

Lisa Magnuson, founder and CEO of Top Line Sales, was selected to be featured in the 2014 Women’s Advantage Shared Wisdom Calendar. The calendar provides advice for women business owners for influential women leaders across the U.S. and around the world. She shared information from her book, “The 48-Hour Rule and Other Strategies for Career Survival,” published in 2002.

Jordan Ramis brings on attorneys

Jordan Ramis PC has added attorneys Lawrence Evans and Krista Evans to the firm.

Evans joins the firm as a shareholder and specializes in meeting the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses. He has more than 35 years experience working with clients in a number of areas, including business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate.

He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and his juris doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School. He is involved in a number of nonprofit organizations including Pacific Northwest Billy Graham Crusade, Portland Business Luncheons, West Hills Christian School, Compassion Ministries and Northwest Christian Community Foundation.

Evans joins the firm as an associate. She has experience on a range of business issues including corporate compliance, employment agreements, business financing, contract review and drafting, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, intellectual property and strategic alliances. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and her juris doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she graduated cum laude.

Gallagher relocates businesses to Lake Oswego

Olive Gallagher, founder and CEO of Personal Best, a creative marketing and ethics consultancy business, has moved from Los Angeles to Lake Oswego. Her business includes two divisions: Inner Bottom Line, which is also the name of her nationally syndicated column and radio show, provides consulting and private coaching services, and Creative Infusion, which creates and produces tangible brand advertising and marketing concepts and collateral.
