The following events are planned at Lewis & Clark College and the public is invited to attend. The events are free unless otherwise noted.

n A screening of the 1968 film, “Salesman,” directed by Albert and David Maysles will be held Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in room 102 in Miller Hall.

n The Portland debut of the Kurt Rosenwinkel Quartet occur Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Evans Hall. Kurt Rosenwinkel presents music that conveys a sense of masterful storytelling and breathtaking imaginative reach.

His significance as a composer to the ever-evolving jazz landscape transcends the oft-cited lineage of jazz guitar in much the same way that Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter both impacted with their instruments.

West Linn Fine Arts Festival seeks artists

The West Linn Fine Arts Festival has put out a call to artists to participate in its 14th annual Arts Festival to be held this year Aug. 3 and 4 on the Marylhurst University campus.

West Linn Lions to host 40th annual sausage & kraut feed

The West Linn Lions Club will present its 40th annual sausage and kraut fee on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Parish Hall, 21060 SW Stafford Road in Tualatin.

The event features the music of the Oregon Polkabeats. Tickets are $12 for those 9 and up; those 8 and under are admitted free of charge.

Tickets are available at the door.

Proceeds benefit local charities.

Rosewood Board meeting tonight

The Rosewood Neighborhood board of directors will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at River Grove Elementary school’s library.
