Poetry with heart to be presented

Moonstruck series continues


by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Seattle author Carolyne Wright will be one of the authors reading at Moonstruck's literary series on Sunday. Joining her will be Clackamas Community College instructor and author James Grabill.A duo of Northwest authors will present their poetry with heart on Sunday beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Moonstruck Chocolate Café, 45 S. State St. in Lake Oswego.

Carolyne Wright, a Seattle translator, poet and memoir writer, will read from “Majestic Nights: Love Poems of Bengali Women” and “Season of Mangoes and Brainfire.” Joining her will be James Grabill, a Clackamas Community College instructor and author, who has published “Finding the Top of the Sky,” “An Indigo Scent after the Rain” and other titles.

Both authors will have books available for browsing and autographing.

Landscape photographs by Sean Minogue are on display at Moonstruck through the month of February.

The Moonstruck literary series is hosted by Joan Maiers and is free and open to the public.

The event begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating and place orders to avoid interruptions to the readings.

Attendees are requested to bring canned food donations for the Oregon Food Bank.
