Casting meetings set

for Willamette’s Living History Tour

Though the tour isn’t until Sept. 21, organizers for Willamette’s Living History Tour: A Lantern Light Tour are starting to build the cast.

“We will be casting close to 80 combined tour guides and characters so we welcome new individuals interested in a part as a tour guide or character in the tour,” said Danny Schreiber, a member of the WLH committee. “There really is something for everybody.”

People interested in participating should plan to attend one of two meetings to review the script and have parts assigned.

The meetings are planned for July 28 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Both meetings will be held at committee member Beth Smolens’ home, located at 1852 Fourth Ave., West Linn.

Costume fitting appointments will be arranged during these cast meetings.

Crew volunteers and safety patrol members are also needed.

Community service hours are available for those volunteering for the tech crew.

Call Smolens at 503-680-6141 or Schreiber at 503-723-5495 to let them know which meeting you will attend.
