Lakeridge and Lake Oswego high schools are among dozens of schools statewide vying for a spot in the Dance and Drill Coaches Association of Oregon’s category championships. In November, teams face off in category competitions — where teams show off their moves in specific dance styles such as jazz or pom. The first- and second-place recipients in each category competition will head to the category championships on Dec. 7 in Oregon City.by: SUBMITTED PHOTO: MATT MONROE - Lakeridge dancers are holding a major showcase next week.
