Out with the old, in with the new

SBK Green Century Electronic Recycling is offering locals an opportunity to rid themselves of toxic electronic waste.

The recycling service company — with locations in Oregon, Washington and Utah — will be accepting items 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 4 at Lake Oswego High School, 2501 Country Club Road. The service is free.

A wide range of items are accepted, including computers, printers, fax and copy machines, ink cartridges, TVs, cellphones, cameras, stereos, VCRs, DVD players, washers, dryers, ovens and stoves.
