Children's Center welcomes new board members

Children’s Center, a nonprofit organization providing medical assessments and family support services to suspected victims of child abuse, has recently added to its board of directors.

The board welcomed new members: Angi Dilkes (Canby), vice president, Eames Consulting; Catherine Burns (Sherwood), professor emeritus of the OHSU School of Nursing; and Tasca Gulick (Tualatin), community volunteer.

Children’s Center board members serve on a volunteer basis for four-year terms. The three new members join a veteran board, including:

n Russ Reinhard (Oregon City), chair, chief executive, Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center

n Terri Peschka (Portland), vice chair, general manager of power operations, PGE

n Mike Weber (Portland), secretary/treasurer, partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers

n John Foote (Lake Oswego), immediate past chair, Clackamas County District Attorney

n Ken Scuito (Portland), director of marketing, Warn Industries

n Stewart A. Williams III (Tigard), senior VP, regional treasury management, Columbia Bank

n Beth Carpenter (West Linn), retired forensic division lab director, Oregon State Police

n Ron Naso (Happy Valley), retired superintendent, North Clackamas School District

n Bob Jordan (Lake Oswego), chief of police, Milwaukie Police Department

n Sally LeFeber (Lake Oswego), community volunteer

n Terry Waddell (Milwaukie), community volunteer

“We are pleased to welcome these individuals to our leadership,” Children’s Center Board Chairman Russ Reinhard said. “Collectively, they bring a wide range of experience and unwavering commitment to protecting local children. I look forward to working with them to grow and strengthen the work of Children’s Center.”
