3/1/13 3:49 p.m. A thief invaded a home on Jefferson Parkway and stole coins, cash, Xbox and Omega watch.

3/4/13 10:53 a.m. A vacant home was burglarized of a TV, stereo equipment, power washer and other valuable items. Total loss in the burglary was set at $4,000.

ACCIDENT

3/2/13 3:32 p.m. In a case of inexcusably wild driving, a driver kept cutting off people on State Street and raced through a service station before parking at Picasso Salon. When confronted about this, the driver admitted to being late for a hair appointment.

2/26/13 7:57 a.m. A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen while she was in Chicago.

2/26/13 3:25 p.m. Ski apparel worth $700 was stolen from a Chevy Suburban parked on Monroe Parkway.

2/26/13 1:43 p.m. A woman suspects the car she just purchased may be stolen because it has no title.

2/26/13 1:54 p.m. Two suspicious men were following a letter carrier as he delivered mail and seemed to be opening mailboxes. However, it turned out they were only putting in business cards.

3/4/13 10:58 a.m. Vandals caused $2,500 to $3,000 in damage to a vehicle on Crestfield Court, An X was carved on the hood and air was let out of the tires.

3/4/13 11:13 a.m. Garbage is being dumped on Larch Street. It stinks and is attracting rats. It is being called a public nuisance and a violation of state codes.

3/4/13 12:01 p.m. A mother is asking truant officers to keep an eye on her 17-year-old son, who keeps skipping school.

3/4/13 9:32 p.m. A wife is now missing after being locked out of her house.

FRAUD

2/17/13 4:14 p.m. A woman attempted to pass a bad check at a checkstand at Safeway on A Avenue. She escaped through the east side door. If captured, she may be charged with possession of a forged instrument and attempted theft by deception.

2/21/13 12:56 p.m. A boyfriend’s daughter is the suspect in the theft of a woman’s Electronic Benefit Transfer card.

3/1/13 12:08 p.m. A vehicle title fraud ring may be operating in Brush Prairie, Wash.
