ODOT begins installing signs for traffic management on Highway 217

The Oregon Department of Transportation will post a few dozen signs to help drivers navigate around construction on Highway 217, including in the Kruse Way area.

Poles will be installed first, including one for westbound drivers on Kruse Way near the Highway 217-Interstate 5 interchange. In the summer, signs will be attached to display varying messages. The idea is to inform drivers about potential delays and conflicts, enabling them to make better decisions.

Before the end of the summer, ODOT plans to repave most of Highway 217 from Lake Oswego through Beaverton.
