New this year, Beit Haverim’s religious school will host the religious school of Lake Oswego United Church of Christ for an interfaith Passover seder.

“In our shared space of worship we will join together on April 7 from 3 to 4 p.m. for the reading of the Haggadah, which takes us on the journey of the Israelites' exodus from Egypt,” said Michelle Bombet Minch, spokesperson for Beit Haverim. Berg will lead the seder and ceremonial Passover foods will be served.

“Building bridges and creating friendships can so easily occur for children over a meal,” said Berg. “By creating such moments over the beauty and fun of a Passover seder brings a special meaning to both faith traditions.”
