3/26/13 8:58 a.m. A purse was stolen from a Hyundai by a thief who gained entry by breaking a window of the car while it was parked near Rite Aid on Boones Ferry Road.

3/27/13 7:38 a.m. After smashing in a window of a vehicle on Foothills Drive, a thief took a black backpack with checks, tennis shoes and shorts. Total loss was $500.

3/27/13 8:35 a.m. A metal sculpture of a large orange pear, valued at $100, was taken from a porch on River Edge Drive.

3/27/13 2:01 p.m. After returning to his table after getting a cup of coffee at Starbucks, a man discovered that his iPad was missing. It was valued at $200.

3/27/13 8:11 p.m. A car clout in the parking lot of Stanford’s Restaurant resulted in the theft of an overnight bag, leather satchel and IBM Thinkpad.

3/29/13 10:23 p.m. A phone was stolen and held for ransom. The thief said he would return the phone for a fee.

3/30/13 11:47 a.m. A home health care worker is suspected of stealing jewelry, medications and other items from an apartment on Evergreen Road.

3/24/13 7:57 p.m. A man is being threatened by the person who hacked his computer.

3/24/13 8:07 p.m. Two girls explained that they were lying on a sidewalk because they were looking for the pieces of a phone they dropped.

3/24/13 9:08 p.m. While a woman was out walking her dog on Edenberry Drive, a couple of teen brats in a SUV threw a cup of soda at her.

3/25/13 6:46 p.m. A teenage boy had a meltdown while shopping at Albertsons and had to be transported home.

3/26/13 1:52 p.m. A cat was locked inside a vacant house.

3/26/13 2 p.m. An enraged estranged husband stood outside his estranged wife’s house on Kerr Parkway and yelled his head off.

3/27/13 10 a.m. A fellow with spiky blonde hair walked into a man’s house and threatened him with destruction. His threats included: “I’ll pull the trigger,” “That man is evil and I will get him,” and “I’m waiting at the park for him.” On his way out the spiky-headed fellow broke a flag in a planter’s box.

3/27/13 12:51 p.m. A man with missing teeth offered to uninstall things in a house on Lake Grove Avenue.

3/27/13 2:02 p.m. Numerous ducks are waddling onto Boones Ferry Road, prompting requests that the city build a fence around their pond.

3/27/13 4:43 p.m. An elderly, confused female was found wandering on Boones Ferry Road but was later reunited with her caretakers.

3/27/13 4:59 p.m. A small girl was caught carrying a duck in a bag. A police officer determined that she and her friends just wanted to pet it.

3/27/13 5:03 p.m. A nutty guy on a bike jumped out in front of a driver on Twin Fir Road, causing the driver’s vehicle to swerve in traffic.

3/27/13 9:18 p.m. Some juveniles bought alcohol via self checkout at Walmart and ignored an employee when he tried to stop them. An officer determined that the youths were shoplifting.

3/27/13 11:11 p.m. A screaming teen was in full voice outside of a home on A Avenue.

3/28/13 7:37 a.m. Two missing beagles were returned to their owner thanks to the effort of Jill at Lake Grove Veterinary Clinic.

3/28/13 9:45 a.m. Criminal mischief struck on Washington Court when somebody broke out a window on a garage. Damage and property loss was set at $500. The property owner suspects it was the person leasing the garage, who has been having a financial dispute with him.

3/28/13 12:15 p.m. An owner and his dog were subjected to a three-dog attack while walking at George Rogers Park. The three attacking dogs got away in a red Nissan just before the cops arrived.

3/28/13 1:08 p.m. An absent-minded dog owner left his white Pomeranian at a pet food store and then drove off without leaving any forwarding information.

3/28/13 6:49 p.m. Five juveniles ages 11 to 14 were kicking restroom doors and knocking over garbage cans at East Waluga Park.

3/28/13 7:05 p.m. A neighbor yelled at a woman’s son while he was walking the dog on Burnham Road.

3/28/13 7:20 p.m. After breaking up with her boyfriend and getting into a verbal dispute with him, a woman was worried that he would show up and harass her while she was packing up to leave. Fortunately, an officer was standing by when the boyfriend showed up.

3/28/13 9:55 p.m. Three guns and ammunition were seized from a suicidal man who was then transported to a hospital.

3/29/13 7:54 a.m. A biker found his bike taken off his car rack and placed on a football field. It is now missing a wheel.

3/29/13 1:07 p.m. A woman on Worthington Street was stunned when a man ran through her front door and out her back door. He did not pause to give her an explanation of his conduct.

3/29/13 8:34 p.m. Promiscuous shooting of fireworks was taking place on Bryant Road and Chapman Way.

3/29/13 11:52 p.m. A woman fears that undercover officers hiding in her yard on Lamont Court will do her bodily harm.

3/30/13 1:47 a.m. A man loitering in the aisles at Safeway refused to leave. However, he did eventually depart when he was transported to a detox center.

3/30/13 9:33 a.m. A father is extremely upset about his two juvenile daughters fighting.

3/30/13 12:44 p.m. In a case of mobile dog harassment, a woman said a female whose dog attacked her dog at the Wilsonville dog park later followed her home to the dog park in Lake Oswego on Stafford Road. She believes the female has no control over her dogs and fears further attacks.

3/30/13 5:54 p.m. Sassy juveniles refused to stop skateboarding on the campus of Marylhurst University. They also threw stuff at a car. The skateboarders had vanished by the time a police officer arrived.

3/30/13 9:33 p.m. A singing drunken person was giving an impromptu concert in the alley between Our Lady of the Lake Parish and Lake Realty.

3/30/13 9:50 p.m. A longtime issue of bullying between two boys was found to be the cause of current harassing and threatening between the two youths.

3/31/13 12:03 a.m. An antisocial skinny man was urinating in the street and flipping off passing motorists on Bryant Road and Lakeview Boulevard.

3/31/13 1:54 p.m. Despite being kicked out of a bar the previous night, a man continues to inflict his unwanted presence. Legal removal is surely in his future.

4/1/13 7:58 a.m. A man with a guitar around his neck was desperately running from something in the area of Wizer’s, Peet’s Coffee and A Avenue. But no one saw what or who was chasing the frantic fellow.

4/1/13 8:10 a.m. A dog has been barking so loudly inside a home on Britten Court that he is starting to sound very faint.

4/1/13 2:03 p.m. Police checked on reports that a female was crying at a residence on Glenmorrie Drive. Her boyfriend explained they were having relationship issues.

4/1/13 3:55 p.m. A dog sitter arrived to stop a large dog from running loose on Britten Court.

4/1/13 5:02 p.m. After erupting into out-of-control behavior, a 13-year-old male was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.

4/1/13 9:09 p.m. After saying she was going to stay at a friend’s house for the night, a 13-year-old girl told her parents she was not coming home. She was then reported as a runaway.

4/1/13 10:39 p.m. A woman’s fiance threatened to commit suicide by taking an overdose of medication.

4/2/12 12:36 a.m. A 17-year-old son went on a drinking binge, then went out of control and started smashing holes into a wall of his home.

4/2/13 12:54 a.m. A female who had been drinking and a male who had been using heroin split from a scene before police officers could arrive.

3/19/13 3:07 p.m. After placing an ad on Craigslist, a woman received a fraudulent check from out of state.

3/20/13 11:28 a.m. A man was surprised to receive a letter from a Ford dealer informing him that his 2008 Ford Focus was due for service since he never has owned a 2008 Ford Focus.

3/28/13 12:14 p.m. A woman reported that a Craigslist transaction resulted in fraudulent charges from PayPal and Western Union.

3/28/13 2:55 p.m. A woman reported unauthorized charges on her credit card.
