8/28/13 11:51 a.m. A woman driver nearly ran over several people while going down Country Club Road. She also cut off another vehicle several times. However, police found that she was not impaired by alcohol and had only tea and mineral water in her vehicle.

8/23/13 7:46 a.m. Two bicycles were taken overnight from an apartment on Parkview Drive.

8/23/13 9:24 a.m. A wicker chair with a colorful cushion was taken from a residence on Tanglewood Drive. Its value was $100.

8/27/13 5:40 a.m. A hotel room was burglarized of an iPad worth $500.

8/27/13 6:45 p.m. A contractor took $800 in cash from a woman but not did not complete the work.

8/27/13 9:59 p.m. A golf cart has apparently been taken from Foothills Park.

8/28/13 12:04 p.m. A larcenous tenant made off with an air conditioning unit valued at $550.

8/29/13 6:32 a.m. Three vending machines at a hotel were broken into, robbed and smashed up.

9/1/13 12:58 a.m. A woman’s purse was snatched while she was dining at a downtown restaurant.

9/1/13 10:34 a.m. Carpet cleaners are the suspected culprits in the theft of a necklace and pearl and diamond ring. Value of the items was set at $2,500.

8/24/13 3:41 p.m. A troublemaker went into a barber shop and started making religious references and bothering customers. The man was given courtesy transport to a faraway place.

8/25/13 11:46 a.m. There has been a chronic problem with a portable toilet being turned over at a construction site on Wembley Park Road.

8/26/13 12:35 p.m. A puppy bit its mistress while she was trying to put a pill in its mouth. The woman was making a futile attempt to make the yellow Lab vomit after it had eaten some plastic.

8/26/13 3:20 p.m. A man is hoping to keep a gold bracelet he found in a park.

8/26/13 5:33 p.m. Strange things were happening outside of a residence on Fifth Street. Baby clothes were removed from a car and later found, and two outdoor flower planters were apparently damaged by a baseball bat.

8/26/13 8:30 p.m. A dead rat in a Ziploc bag was thrown onto the roadway near the now-closed Palisades Elementary School.

8/27/13 12:44 p.m. A father is searching for his missing 52-year-old daughter.

8/27/13 9:53 p.m. A person became upset that a second person would not give him a ride. The person retaliated by sending an email about “My impending death” and also constantly calling the second person and hanging up.

8/28/13 5:08 a.m. Two male minors were cited for being minors in possession, and a 24-year-old male was warned about giving false information.

8/28/13 11:58 a.m. A husband’s ex-wife is harassing caregivers, which she has often done in the past. She has now been telephonically prohibited from make those calls.

8/28/13 4:02 p.m. A woman was advised to remove her bags of stinking, unsightly garbage from the street as soon as possible.

8/28/13 4:44 p.m. There has been an ongoing issue with a man who drinks heavily and bumps his vehicle into his neighbor’s car when he comes home.

8/28/13 5:08 p.m. A dispute between neighbors over barking dogs is becoming louder and more frequent.

8/28/13 9 p.m. Some mouthy kids on bikes and skateboards were goofing around in traffic near Lakeridge High School.

8/30/13 9:27 a.m. An ex-boyfriend continues to inflict his presence on his ex-girlfriend by refusing to leave her home.

8/30/13 10:20 a.m. A grandparent became alarmed when finding that a granddaughter had been given mushrooms at a party in Bend.

8/31/13 4:37 p.m. An apparently drunken man was stumbling around near some businesses in a shopping area on North State Street. He was taken to detox.

8/31/13 11:12 p.m. Teenagers were skateboarding and banging on windows at Mountain Park Recreation Center.

8/31/13 11:49 p.m. A cab pulled up to a traffic stop and told police he had a passenger passed out in the back seat. An unconscious teen was transported to Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center in Tualatin. Two other teens were referred to the juvenile retention center for being minors in possession.

9/1/13 8:28 a.m. A 14-year-old juvenile ran away from a youth facility and is believed to be heading toward Gresham.

9/1/13 1:49 p.m. A 12-year-old went berserk at a youth facility, knocking out ceiling tiles, pulling wires and metal pieces out of the ceiling and throwing ceiling tiles at staffers. The boy was referred to juvenile authorities for criminal mischief and released back into custody of the youth facility.

9/1/13 6:52 p.m. Someone tried to open a woman’s screen door and tampered with her mailbox at her residence on Lakeview Boulevard.

9/1/13 7:25 p.m. There was an estimated $500 to $1,000 damage done to a car parked at a market on Monroe Parkway.

9/2/13 8:29 a.m. A son took off in his dad’s car without his permission and went to visit his mother.

9/2/13 11:27 a.m. Broken glass was reported at the wading pool and in front of the stairs at Foothills Park.

9/2/13 1:07 p.m. A woman was subjected to so much harassment by a man that she blacked out at her daughter’s school.

9/2/13 8:51 p.m. Several teens were seen urinating on a building on Andrews Road.

FRAUD

8/26/13 12:02 p.m. A person who was asked to send money via Western Union for a Microsoft project two years ago was told that this was part of a scam that involved $15,000. The scammer has had a change of heart and wants to give the money back.

8/27/13 5:05 p.m. An unknown crook forged a check for $2,223 on a woman’s account.

8/27/13 5:49 p.m. A person received a strange call about the police searching for the person because of not reporting for jury duty.

8/27/13 6:04 p.m. An unknown phony phone caller said a warrant had been issued for a person’s arrest for not paying fines.

8/27/13 6:47 p.m. The series of phony threatening calls continued when an unknown person claiming to be a Clackamas County deputy told a woman there was a warrant out for her arrest because she did not report for jury duty.

8/30/13 1:34 p.m. A temporary employee took money from a company after being terminated.

8/31/13 6:35 p.m. A woman smelled a scam when she got a call from somebody claiming to be from Microsoft and offering to fix her computer problems if she paid via credit card or Western Union. Officers gave her advice on how to eliminate her computer virus.

9/1/13 10:37 a.m. When going to use his $500 gift card at Fred Meyer, a man was informed that someone had used $498.32 on the card at a Walmart store.
