1/17/12 9:36 a.m. A hit-and-run accident resulted in $750 to $1,200 in damage to a Nissan Frontier.
1/17/12 10 a.m. While parked at a bank on Bryant Street, the window of a car was pried out. Items stolen included a purse, credit/debit cards, driver's license and $300 in cash.
1/18/12 11:20 a.m. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle on Botticelli Street.
1/19/12 1:24 p.m. A woman's vehicle was robbed by two men who took a laptop bag, laptop charger and some company materials, with a total value of $500.
1/19/12 2:19 p.m. A liquor store theft ring is suspected of robbing a spot on State Street. One subject keeps the clerk busy while another helps himself to bottles of booze.
1/19/12 3:24 p.m. Mail was stolen from a location on Royce Way and was found on Childs Road. Future identity theft is feared.
1/18/12 7:12 a.m. Water in the basement was rising fast in a woman's home on Old River Road. The homeowner is worried the flooding will ruin her furnace.
1/18/12 12:31 p.m. A son pawned two of his dad's guns at a pawn shop in Milwaukie.
1/18/12 2:04 p.m. An elderly female driver was driving westbound in an eastbound lane on Kruse Way. She was stopped and given a courtesy ride home.
1/18/12 4:53 p.m. A man reeking of alcohol and wearing a frog hat stopped by a home near Bryant Road to seek an address.
1/19/12 1:05 p.m. A coyote was observed strolling through a parking lot at a posh spot on Kruse Way Place.
1/19/12 3:39 p.m. A dog was reported to be barking for hours on Lindsay Court. However, as always happens in such cases, the dog was silent when police came to investigate.
1/20/12 9:55 a.m. A woman was displeased by a car with a loud muffler that was driven onto her property on South Shore Boulevard.
1/20/12 12:43 p.m. Jason Wayne Swearingen, 27, registered as a sex offender.
1/20/12 12:51 p.m. A 14-year-old girl got up and left her class at Waluga Junior High School. She was ultimately located at the Plaid Pantry.
1/20/12 3:05 p.m. A landlord's request for tenants to take out their trash was met with a threat to commit harm against her. She believes they are heroin addicts.
1/20/12 3:40 p.m. Somebody spilled their Viagra on the floor of Blockbuster Video on Boones Ferry Road.
1/20/12 5:18 p.m. An intimidating resident on E Avenue threatened a woman after she sent him a violation letter about walking his large dog off leash.
1/21/12 10:58 a.m. A car was parked with such utter carelessness that it blocked four spaces in the alley behind Gemini Pub.
1/21/12 1:16 p.m. A dog got sick after eating a poisoned piece of bread left on its owner's porch, but prompt treatment by a veterinarian saved the poor pooch.
1/22/12 2:19 a.m. Eight or 10 loud juveniles were standing around, smoking cigarettes and disturbing people.
1/22/12 11:23 a.m. A female was taken home by her parents after her yelling match with a man became too loud for others to bear.
1/22/12 2:23 p.m. A suspected case of gas thievery turned out to be a man accidentally putting diesel in his car and a service station employee helping to fix this awful mistake.
1/22/12 10:42 p.m. A vagrant is back at Safeway despite being previously removed.
1/23/12 11:10 a.m. A bottle bomb blew up a mailbox overnight on Tempest Drive.
1/23/12 12:48 p.m. A litter bug is leaving bags of debris along Lakeview Boulevard.
1/23/12 8:03 p.m. A son is upset with his parents for over-reacting after they told the police he was depressed, possibly suicidal and perhaps carrying a gun.
1/23/12 9:09 p.m. Two large dogs followed a man into his garage on Sierra Vista Drive and nipped him.
1/22/12 9:38 a.m. A 'grandson' wired his grandmother to send him money because he was trapped in Bolivia. However, grandma wasn't fooled, because she knew her real grandson was in California.
1/23/12 1:55 p.m. Three checks totaling $3,000 were written on a man's account at U.S. Bank. The site of the crime has not yet been determined.
1/23/12 5:49 p.m. Unauthorized purchases were made on a woman's Discover card totaling a whopping $15,000.
