BURGLARIES

8/24/14 12:45 p.m. Someone snuck into a house on Lake Shore Road and went through a bedroom closet. However, nothing was stolen.

8/25/14 7:33 p.m. Tools have been taken from an attached garage for the past two days. Items taken included a worm drive Skilsaw worth $75, three Porter-Cable pneumatic nail guns worth $80, and a Ryobi charger and battery valued at $50.

ACCIDENTS

8/19/14 6:11 p.m. An auto incurred $1,000 in damage after a driver slammed into it in front of the Trainer's Club.

8/20/14 5:37 p.m. An auto crash on Boones Ferry Road resulted in $1,500 in damage, but injuries were avoided.

8/25/14 12:31 p.m. A 77-year-old woman was cited for not performing the duties of a driver at an accident at a Tri-Met bus stop.

8/20/14 12:18 a.m. A candy lover wearing a black hoodie took a big bag of sweets worth $60 and escaped in the direction of Pilkington Park.

8/18/14 3:20 p.m. A stepson who lives in Portland is harassing a family, threatening that he would slit their throats if he became homeless. The man has no weapons and no known drinking or drug problems but suffers from depression and has anxiety issues.

8/18/14 p.m. Five boys and two girls were discovered smoking pot down by the river.

8/22/14 1:36 a.m. Several curfew-breaking juveniles were nabbed for having a food fight. They were required to come back the next morning and clean up their mess.

8/22/14 12:10 p.m. A woman came into a bank and said she had just escaped from a psychiatric hospital and that she now wants to kill everyone and herself. It was determined she was not a threat, and she went home with her brother.

8/22/14 12:16 p.m. An unfriendly neighbor came over, kicked a bucket and tried to wrestle a power washer from his neighbor’s hands. The victim of this attack feels threatened. The two neighbors have had a history of not getting along.

8/22/14 1:21 p.m. A large dog is urinating on personal belongings and trying to hump other dogs at George Rogers Park.

8/22/14 1:52 p.m. A woman disputes complaints that her dogs were barking nonstop, pointing out that they were out on the lake with her husband at the time the alleged barking incident took place.

8/22/14 3:22 p.m. While buying a pizza, a person came out to discover that someone had poured an abrasive, smelly, oily substance on his windshield.

8/19/14 8:12 a.m. Fraudulent charges of $105 were made on a credit card that a woman never applied for.

8/19/14 10:25 a.m. Searchers are seeking people who put on an estate sale in July.

8/20/14 4:08 p.m. When a woman declined to follow the advice of a phony Windows technician, she was met with foul words. The technician is also trying to get into her computer.

8/21/14 7:55 p.m. An email was hacked and over $70,000 was wired to a fake account of a business in Eugene.

8/24/14 10:54 a.m. A woman reported that a former tenant tried to obtain a credit card by using her address.
