Spring fundraiser at LOACC was a great success

A very successful second annual spring fundraiser was held on June 2, sponsored by the Lake Oswego Academy of Dance under the leadership of Rebecca Harris Wear.

The event raised more than $6,700 for Lake Oswego Meals on Wheels program. More than 400 talented dancers performed throughout the day at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center to the delight of hundreds in the audience.

All proceeds from this fundraiser went to the Lake Oswego Meal Network Advisory Board, the nonprofit board of the Lake Oswego Meals on Wheels program. The program delivers meals to the homebound and serves weekly lunches in the dining room at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center.

In just one day, more than $6,700 was raised due to the generous contributions from all who attended this wonderful event.
