Playing with a slightly altered line-up the Lakers dropped just one set in the match. At Nos. 1 and 2 singles, Katie Day and Libby Dozois won convincingly, dropping just one game combined.

At third singles, Lake Oswego's Anna Meyer had a competitive match against Lakeridge's Marie Kanapeaux with Meyer winning 6-4, 6-3.

Mehek Sethi won in straight sets at No. 4 singles to complete the sweep.

In doubles, Lakeridge put two of its top players together at No. 1 in Brittany Dales and Anna Seydel for a showdown with Caroline Dorman and Blair Dozois.

The Laker pairing came away with a convincing win as did Claire Murphy and Natalia Perry at second doubles.

All of the doubles matchers were very competitive with Morgan Reno and Holly Mindemann topping Katie Ellis and Kristin Taylor 6-4, 7-5 while the best match of the afternoon came at No. 4 doubles.

The Laker team of Crystal Liu and Bridget Myers won the opening set in a tiebreak but dropped the second 7-5 to Tai Strangeland and Lauren Zhao before rallying for a 6-3 win in the third.

"I was really happy with the girls' performances. We had two key players missing so we had to change things up a little but the girls adjusted and did a great job," Laker coach Susan Branam said.

The Lakers continue to show their depth with impressive performances this year and are well on their way to clinching the league title at the midway point of the season.

Lakeridge rallied on Monday with a victory over Canby.
