The Lakeridge cross-country teams continue to shine early in the season. The Pacer boys dominated their most recent crossover meet, easily besting league rivals Grant and Clackamas.

The Pacers were so dominant that they placed nine runners in the top-10, a feat almost unheard of at a dual meet.

Leo Lukens led the way, winning the race individually in 17:06. Justin Miller and Alex Harbert were close behind, just four seconds apart.

Clackamas' Jared Bell took fourth, but Lakeridge claimed the next six spots with Tim Jordan, Reed Mederos, Daniel Ragsdale, Corrado Pitari, Noah Belcik and Gabe Smith-Nilsen all running in a pack until late in the race and each earning top-10 showings.

For the girls, Lakeridge took second behind St. Mary's, one of the top teams in the state.

Laura Manning had a very strong showing, taking fourth place overall in a time of 20:19.

Lia Newman and Elli Newman each finished in the top-10 with Lia taking eighth. Dorothy Wang rounded out the scoring in 15th place.

For Lake Oswego, Jase Jacobsen took sixth in the team's crossover meet in West Linn while Brendan Holser took 13th.

The Laker girls finished third in the meet led by Becca Miles' sixth place showing in 20:55. Emma Smith took 10th and June Pauly was 12th.
