Get a free watering gauge

Kits ensure green lawn and more green cash


July is national Smart Irrigation Month, as well as one of Oregon’s hottest and driest months.

The Regional Water Providers Consortium is providing free watering gauge kits to customers who reside inside the RWPC service area until Aug. 10. The is a free resource for residents to save water and money.

The watering gauge kit takes the guesswork out of watering and determining how much water sprinklers are putting their lawns. The RWPC also posts a weekly watering number on its website (conserveh2o.org), which tells people how many inches of water is recommended for their lawns each week during the summer.

Anyone who receives water service from an RWPC member is eligible for a free kit while supplies last. To make sure you qualify, view the full list of providers at conserveh2o.org/members.
