Brush up driving skills at AARP Safe Driving program

The Lake Oswego Adult Community Center is once again offering the AARP Safe Driving Program in July. This six-hour program is the nation’s largest refresher driving course and helps refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques.

Graduates of the course may be eligible for a discount from their auto insurance carrier. This is a classroom course only; no vehicles will be used. The July course occurs on Tuesday and Thursday, July 9 and 11, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $12 for members of AARP and $14 for non-members and is open to all ages. Call the center at 503-635-3758 for more information or registration, or visit ci.oswego.or.us/acc.
