Experienced actors needed to scare up fun at Haunted Trail


by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Want to be part of the Haunted Trail scare crew? West Linn Parks and Recreation is seeking experienced actors of all ages for the annual event.

The West Linn Parks and Recreation Department is seeking experienced actors to participate in its third annual Haunted Trail at Mary S. Young State Park on Oct. 25 and 26.

The final preparations are underway for what is developing into the best Haunted Trail production yet. Adult, middle and high school actors with a serious commitment are needed. Fast pass tickets are available at westlinnoregon.gov/parksrec. Tickets purchased in advance allow you to access the “fast pass” line at the event. Upcoming fall parks and recreation classes include: Part 2 of beginning banjo, guitar and ukulele. Bob Ross Oil Painting “Final Embers of Sunlight,” horseback riding and pumpkin carving for persons with a special needs diagnosis, Meditation for Coping With Stress and You’re on the Air! How to Make it in Voice-overs.

Holiday shoppers looking for unique handcrafted items won’t want to miss the Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 16 at the West Linn Adult Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the perfect small-scale bazaar for those who want to shop locally and still enjoy the variety of more than 25 vendors featuring jewelry, kids’ clothing, woodworks, paintings, sweets and more.
