Teen ASAP nights rock!

Sign your teens up for ASAP Friday Night Field Trips, so they can join their friends and experience a night out at Safari Sam’s. Come dive through the black diamond course, play mini-golf and more.

Once a month, the McKenzie Teen Lounge offers a full night of fun. Meet at the lounge in the West End Building, and then head out for an evening full of entertainment and friends. Get Outdoors! Take Basic Skills Kayak. This class establishes the foundation that all paddlers need. In the classroom discuss paddling safely, local destinations and equipment. On the water learn the basic paddle strokes needed to efficiently move a kayak through water. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19. Pricing is dependent on age: Ages 10 to 15, $40; and ages 16 and older, $65.

Dance at the WEB

Tiny Boppers. A dance and movement experience that helps children develop confidence. Dancers build motor coordination, rhythm and strength, which provides a foundation for all dance forms, sports and other physical activities. Ages 3 to 6, 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, April 16 to May 21, $45.

Mini Ballerinas. Young dancers improve musicality and learn proper ballet positions, sequences, dances, terminology and more while building self-confidence in a fun environment. Ages 4 to 7, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Thursdays, April 17 to May 22, $60.

Modern Kids Dance. Try all kinds of dances! Learn the basics of ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance styles as you learn different movement combinations. Ages 8 to 12, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays, April 17 to May 22, $60.

Nia. Come experience the joy of movement with certified Nia instructor, Zarina Khorasanee. Dance to invigorating and inspirational music and lift your spirits up. Nia improves flexibility, agility, mobility, stability and strength. Bare feet recommended. Ages 16 and older, 5:40 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, April 15 to June 10, $58.

Line Dance-Beginning. Have a foot stompin’, heel kickin’, yee-haw-shouting good time with Holli. Learn a new dance every week. Dances progress from beginner to intermediate over the course of the session. Receive instruction, CD music, and have fun dancing. Ages 14 and older, 6 to 7 p.m. Fridays, April 18 to May 30, $33.
