Get tickets now for Rotary lobster feed

The Lake Oswego Rotary Foundation’s 30th annual lobster feed and charity auction will be held June 14 beginning at 5 p.m. at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S State St. in Lake Oswego. Attend Woodland Wildlife workshop

OSU Extension Service is offering a Woodland Wildlife workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 17 at the Hopkins Demonstration Forest, 10 miles south of Oregon City. The field workshop will feature habitat enhancement and wildlife damage aspects of managing private woodlands for wildlife. Those who register will learn from wildlife experts Jimmy Taylor, forest wildlife biologist for the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and Fran Cafferata-Coe, wildlife biologist with extensive experience in wildlife management on working forests.

This will be a walking tour of the 140-acre Hopkins Demonstration Forest. Coffee and other refreshments will be provided. Participants should dress for a field day, rain or shine, and bring their own lunch. There is a $15 fee. Attend engAGE in Community Expo

Attend the engAGE in Community Expo to be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 20 in Clackamas Community College’s Gregory Forum, 19600 Molalla Ave., Oregon City. The event is full of opportunities to gather resources and learn about age-friendly efforts throughout Clackamas County. Highlights include sessions on healthy aging, fall prevention, fraud protection, transportation and housing options. The event is sponsored by AARP Oregon, Clackamas County Health Housing and Human Services, OSU Extension Service and Clackamas Community College. AARP offers events on living longer, smarter

AARP Oregon is hosting Living Longer, Living Smarter workshops in June. The workshops will begin at 6 p.m. at Providence Willamette Falls Community Center, 519 15th St., Oregon City. Admission is one can of food to be donated to the local food bank.

The first session to be held June 3 will focus on learning to maintain your health to live longer, remain independent and how you can plan for when you are unable to make your own decisions.

WLACC holding annual plant sale

The West Linn Adult Community Center is holding its annual plant sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 8 and 9 at the center, 1180 Rosemont Road. All proceeds benefit the center and its programs.
