One lucky entry will grace the cover of the OHS Magazine, and winners in each category will be featured inside. The 24th annual contest highlights pets of all kind: cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents, birds and other companion animals. The deadline for entries is August 17, 2014.

The grand prize winner will receive a Canon digital SLR camera from Pro Photo Supply and Canon, a $250 gift card from Beard’s Framing, and a framed copy of the winning photo.

There is a $10 fee to enter up to five photos in the contest. All entry fees go to help pets at OHS, which found homes for more than 11,000 animals last year. For complete rules and how to submit your digital entry, visit
