Be a powerful voice in a child’s life

Child Advocates, Inc. is currently recruiting volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). CASAs are trained citizens appointed by a judge to advocate for children who, through no fault of their own, have been removed from their homes and placed in foster care. CASAs act as the eyes and ears of the court, gathering information in order to make recommendations that are in the best interest of the children they represent. Their input provides the judge with information that is impartial and independent, bringing the common sense perspective of a volunteer who has nothing at stake but the best interests of the child.

For more information, visit casa-cc.org or call 503-723-0521.

CASA 101 Orientation is held the first Wednesday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m. at 421 High St., suite 220, Oregon City.
