What is more natural than kids climbing trees? West Linn Parks & Recreation invites all kids to come climb trees and play in nature at Mary S. Young Park.
Campers will enjoy fun and educational events like a guided tree climb where they will learn to identify flora and habitat within the tree's canopy. Additional activities include a nature walk, leaf identification, rope knots and how to respect the "leave no trace" approach to enjoying the outdoors. This once-a-summer opportunity occurs on July 21. Two sessions are offered; 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Cost is $55.
