City will hold a dedication and ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Friday.
Mayor Debbie Rogge will cut the ribbon Friday, Aug. 1 for Molallas new Splash Pad at Fox Park.
The grand opening for the new attraction will be held at 10 a.m. Fox Park is next to the Molalla Public Library on Molalla Avenue.
The Fox Park Splash Pad will contain all sorts of water features to thrill kids and give them a chance to cool off in the summer heat.
I think its pretty incredible, Rogge said last week.
The plan was for the city to repair and upgrade the existing splash pad located near the library, with the work was contracted to be done earlier this spring.
The Fox Park Splash Pad has been under construction since May, and work was scheduled for completion by July 31.
At the time, City Manager Dan Huff said that when the splash pad re-opens, the water attraction will be bigger, safer and have more water equipment.
