OSU Extension, the Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District, and Clackamas Community College will host the second-annual Small Farm School.
This is an all-day event for beginning farmers and small acreage landowners in the North Willamette Valley on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the CCC campus in Oregon City. Registration is open through Aug. 27 or until full. The cost is $65 for adults and $40 for those 13-18 with an adult.
Workshop topics include poultry, pigs, fruit trees, vegetable production, tractor safety, equipment operation, marketing, farm veterinary care and soil conservation.
