Molalla's annual Relay for Life started out a bit soggy, but the weather finally cooperated Saturday.

Participants had a special time together celebrating survivors, raising funds to fight cancer and remembering those we have lost.

Molalla's group reached its financial goal which brings us one step closer to finding a cure.

Altogether, the Molalla Relay teams collected $36,207.98 in the 2017 event, surpassing the goal of $33,500.
