Beavercreek man charged with 44 counts related to child sex abuse
After a month-long investigation, the Molalla Police Department has arrested a Beavercreek man on 44 charges related to child sex abuse.
Dillan Bostick-Smith, 19, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and is being held in the Clackamas County Jail after the district attorney decided to hold him on all 44 counts at his arraignment Aug. 31. A grand jury is set for the week of Labor Day.
At this time, Molalla Police have identified nine underaged victims.
"I am reasonably certain that there are more victims," said Molalla Police Detective Mike Boyd. "Everybody that I talked to gave additional names for me to interview. So…if we have additional victims, contact me."
Bostick-Smith's charges include one count of using a child in a sexual display, one count of online sexual corruption of a child in the first degree, two counts of rape in the third degree, two counts of sex abuse in the third degree, four counts of online sexual corruption of a child in the second degree, five counts of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image in the second degree, eight counts of encouraging child sex abuse in the second degree and 16 counts of encouraging child sex abuse in the first degree.
