Two local churches have annual fundraisers in the form of bazaars scheduled for the month of October. These will give deal-hunters the chance to pick up a variety of goods at a discount.

The Beavercreek United Church of Christ, better known as the “Ten O’Clock Church,” has its 15th annual Fall Bazaar this Saturday (Oct. 12) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The church is at 23345 S. Beavercreek Road, Beavercreek. Get more details at 503-632-4553.

The women’s group at Clarkes United Methodist Church holds two days of shopping the last weekend in October to raise money for missions throughout the year. Those missions help a variety of people and causes around Clackamas County including Love INC, Project Start Right and The Father’s Heart Street Ministry.

That church’s rummage sale runs Friday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to steeply discounted used items, the sale features sales of meals and homemade pies.

A new item at this year’s rummage sale will be a cookbook with local recipes: “Homemade Cookin’ With Myiah.” Copies will be $15, with every dollar used for the care of Myiah Lowry, an Estacada girl with the debilitating Rett Syndrome.

The Clarkes church is at 18773 S. Windy City Road, Mulino, at the corner of Windy City and Gard roads. Get more details at 503-632-3294.
