Mulino children shine in talent show
The local congregation of the LDS Church held a talent show recently and children from the congregation who live in the Mulino area grabbed the spotlight. There was a sparkling jazz dance performance from Declan Keller, and piano solo's from Kimber Dusenbury, Jessica Hewitt and Julie Mametieff. The duet singing team of Lauren Pederson and Molly Hackenjos performed a song from the movie Frozen and Anna Mametieff shared her love for learning how to play the guitar. Curt Pederson shared his bird drawings with the crowd and Emmie McQuay made some of the most delicious pecan/caramel/chocolate candy that she shared with everyone in the crowd. A wonderful evening of sharing and performing was enjoyed by all the community members and family that attended to support.

On Thursday, April 17, the monthly meeting of the Mulino Hamlet will be held at the Mulino Airport. The meeting will begin at 7:15 p.m. and will feature guest speaker Scott Caufield from the Clackamas County Zoning Department. Many citizens have come to the meetings asking for help with zoning questions and issues. This is a good time to come and ask the zoning expert directly. Also, the Mulino Hamlet Board is looking for a new director to replace Doug Hill, who is moving out of the Hamlet boundaries.
