Dignitary attends Madras homeless count

Those arriving to collect the giveaway items were asked to complete a short survey on their situations. Volunteers also went out into the community to try to locate homeless camps.

Special guests observing the count included Keith Harris, the National Director of Clinical Operations for Veterans Administration Homeless Programs, and Renee Moore, from the Portland VA Medical Center, who also works with the homeless.
