These community volunteers have participated in 30 hours of classroom training and four hours of courtroom observation.

CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge and serve to represent the best interest of children and youths who have been removed from their homes for abuse and/or neglect and placed in the custody of the state.

CASA’s mission is based on the belief that every child has the right to be treated with dignity and respect and to grow up in a safe and permanent home.

Volunteers are still needed. If you are interested in learning more about CASA of Central Oregon, visit HYPERLINK "" or call 541-389-1618.
