At the Saturday Jefferson County Historical Society’s annual dinner, guest speaker and pilot Ron Ochs entertained the crowd with stories and photos of planes and jets he flew while in the Air Force, and later, antique planes he rebuilt at his ranch near Willowdale.

In another highlight of the event, Jodi Eagan won the Beth Crow Award for her contributions to the Jefferson County Historical Society through her longtime efforts of researching, teaching, and writing about local SUSAN MATHENY/MADRAS PIONEER - Jodi Eagan is presented with the Beth Crow Award by historical society president Jerry Ramsey.
