"Early numbers are in and it looks like we had a stellar year. The rodeo, food vendors and carnival are all reporting record participation," said Jefferson County Fair Manager Brian Crow.
"We couldn't be more thrilled with the community's response to the fair this year. The fair board and I worked tirelessly to redesign the layout and all indicators point to it being a rousing success.
The relocation of our carnival increased safety and patron traffic through the main portion of our grounds and our food vendors found that the food court was just what they needed to increase sales," he said.
"When our longstanding Wild Horse contractor was unable to fulfill our needs, we were able to pivot and bring in Edison Yazzie, who presented a thrilling two-plus-one format with female riders," Crow added.
He said the fair board is grateful for the support of the community and the businesses who stepped up to support the fair financially and through time and material donations.
