Dr. Wendy Abraham, Naturopathic Physician, Sherwood Aesthetic MedicineGetting older has many benefits, like the accumulation of wisdom, experience and accomplishments. Unfortunately, another side effect is facial aging. Even if you've been blessed with great genes and have taken good care of yourself, some age-related change is unavoidable. Maybe your hairline has receded, or you're noticing deeper forehead wrinkles and laugh lines. Or maybe you're beginning to lose some of the youthful volume that plumped up the areas around your eyes and mouth.

At Dr. A's free Q & A on April 4th from 5:30-7:30, you'll have the opportunity to discuss which solutions might address your specific concerns. Dr. Abraham will give an overview of simple, noninvasive options. These range from sunscreen, moisturizers and creams like Retin-A that treat wrinkles and liver spots from sun exposure; Botox injections; nonsurgical facelifts like Novathreads combined with dermal fillers like Juvederm to address sagging; or Kybella to help redefine the jawline.

Kybella is an FDA-approved treatment that address submental fullness, or what many refer to as a double chin, that doesn't go away with eating well and exercising. Up to five treatments of injectable deoxycholic acid destroys the fat cells underneath the chin. "We love being able to redefine your jawline," said Dr. Abraham. "It's a great procedure because it works and can take quite a few years off someone's profile."

Dr. Abraham will be giving a Kybella demonstration at her free Q & A. RSVP by calling 503-610-1194 to learn what you can do to restore a more youthful-looking appearance.
