Adelsheim Vineyard under new ownership, First Federal metes cash via its Community Rewards program

Adelsheim founders sell ownership

The founders of the decades-old Adelsheim Vineyard, David and Ginny Adelsheim, announced last month that they have sold their ownership to longtime business partners. An article in Wine Spectator states that David Adelsheim was among the first to bring pinot noir to Oregon when he purchased 19 acres in the northern Willamette Valley in 1971, now reportedly having grown to 180 acres on six vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains. The Adelsheims have sold their ownership to Jack and Lynn Loacker — who have been co-owners since 1994 and plan to keep the company independent and local — and will remain with the winery in an advisory role.
