Human Bean to hold food drive Friday
The Human Bean's five Portland-metro drive-through espresso shops, including the Newberg location at 206 Villa Road, will be collecting non-perishable food items Friday for its eighth annual, one-day food drive, according to a press release. The five locations will accept food items from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. that day, knocking 50 cents off the cost of a drink for one donated item and $1 for two items. Customers who donate a third item will get the $1 discount and will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets to an Oregon State or University of Oregon football game this fall. All items donated to Portland-area shops during the food drive will go to the Oregon Food Bank.
