Griefshare workshop continues
2nd Street Community Church is hosting Griefshare, a Christian-based video seminar series on grief and recovery, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays at the First Federal conference room, 121 N. Edwards St. The videos feature biblical insights from some of the nations foremost Christian experts working in the field, including Paul David Trip, Ravi Zacharias, Zig Zigler and others. The video seminars are combined with support group discussions. The series began Jan. 30 but will continue to run for 10 more weeks. Cost is $20, which covers the cost of an accompanying workbook. Hope Fellowship hosts concert Sunday
Portland musicians and ministers Dan and Georgene Rice will perform a concert at Hope Fellowship Church in Wilsonville at 6 p.m. Sunday, with dessert and a time for fellowship to follow. The couple have been ministering together in music in the Portland area and around the world for more than 30 years. Georgene hosts the Georgene Rice Show Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. on KPDQ FM 93.9. Her mission is to try to help listeners think critically and Christianly about todays issues.
