Layne Iffert, 21, of Oregon City, died in a car accident on August 11, 2013. He was born on May 25, 1992 to Michelle & Jason Iffert and lived in Milwaukie, OR.

Layne attended Milwaukie & Rex Putnam High Schools and was employed at Nike. Layne was an athlete and got varsity letters from both Milwaukie (basketball & track) and Putnam (track).

Layne is survived by his mother Michelle Iffert of Clackamas, OR; father Jason Iffert of Portland, OR; grandmother Gloria Iffert or Milwaukie, OR; aunt Vikki Carlson of Portland, OR: step mother Amanda Kuhhausen or Portland, OR; sister Brooklyn Iffert of Portland, OR and step brother Ashton of Portland, OR.

A memorial service was held on August 24, 2013, 11 am at Grace Pointe, 10750 SE 42nd Avenue, Milwaukie, OR 97222.
