Cody C. Carllson

Services have been held for Cody Charles Carllson, 27, of Forest Grove, who died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.

He was born Sept. 3, 1986, in Lexington, Ky., to Clayton J. Borden and Marsha Carllson.

He married Veronica Y. Valimont-Ashburn in 2010 in Hillsboro.    

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Carllson, and grandfather, Phillip Foster, who helped raise him.

Survivors include his wife, Veronica Carllson of the family home in Forest Grove; children, Lidea Eve Carllson, Jera Asynja Carllson and Conrad Clarence Phillip Carllson; father and stepmother, Clayton and Anita Borden of Hillsboro; grandmother, Constance Foster of Twin Falls, Idaho; brothers, Cory Carllson of Beaverton, C.J. Borden of Hillsboro and Rickie Pearo of Hillsboro;  sisters, Crystal Alton of Hillsboro and Sara Pearo Johnson of Cornelius; a niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ruth T. Fitzgerald

Ruth Theresa Fitzgerald, 84, of Forest Grove, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.                           

Private cremation rites will be held at Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove.

She was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Roy, to Tom and Etta (Vandomlen) Nielson.

She married Richard Fitzgerald in 1952 in Long Beach, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 2011; parents; and sisters, Blanche Schoen and Geneva Schoen.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Fitzgerald of Forest Grove, and Timothy Fitzgerald of Cornelius; siblings, John Nielson of Tillamook and Norma Davis of Hillsboro; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jason D. Titus

Jason Daniel Titus, 31, of Cedar Hills, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Titus Residence on Timber Road.

He was born April 29, 1982, in Hillsboro, to Daniel Titus and Cheryl Richardson.

He was raised and educated in Vernonia.

He worked a variety of jobs, but most recently worked as a cook at Ruth’s Chris Steak House and at the Cortet, both in Portland.

He enjoyed the outdoors, bow hunting, fishing, country music and photography.

Survivors include his parents; stepmother, Jana Titus of Vernonia; grandmother, Lucille Titus of Vernonia; seven half siblings, Jacob, Logan and Kole Titus of Vernonia, and Jessica, Ashley, Emmy and Brianna of Portland; four aunts and three uncles; and many cousins.

Services are provided by Duyck & VanDeHey Funeral Home.

Marion E. Henifin

Marion E. Henifin, 94, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at First Christian Church, 2231 19th Ave. in Forest Grove.
