Robert Darrell "Bob" Williams

February 11, 1935 - September 11, 2013-


Former Madras resident Bob Williams, 78, of Buckeye, Ariz., passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sept. 11, 2013. 

Born in Portland, he lived there until retiring to Madras and then moving to Buckeye, Ariz. 

Bob worked for Pacific Northwest Bell for 38 years. In his younger years, he was an avid boater, master water skier, and spent as much time on the water as he could. 

He was a member of the Gideons, and helped support church camps for children.He loved to travel, especially to the Holy Land and Maui, Hawaii. He was loved and respected by many. 

Bob is survived by his friend Susan; daughters, Debbie (and spouse Tom) and Patti (Kelly); seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard (Sandra). 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carol Williams, and his brothers George and Norman. A memorial was held honoring his life and love for the Lord.
