Donald Wayne Eatherton

Former Molalla resident Donald Eatherton, 75, passed away May 31, 2014 in Portland. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Born Donald Wayne Eatherton on June 14, 1938 to Benjamin and Ruby (Blodgett) in Macon, Missouri. When Donald was young the family moved to Kansas; he later moved to California. In 1969 Donald moved to Molalla where he worked first in the turkey farms. For a few years he owned and operated service station in Canby, a doughnut shop in Vale and a towing company in Molalla. He worked nearly 20 years for the paper mill in West Linn. In the late 90s Donald moved to the Senior Estates in Woodburn, while living there he worked 10 years as a road construction flagger for K & D Services.
For hobbies Donald enjoyed restoring automobiles, woodworking and making wooden toys. He was a motorcycle enthusiast.
Donald is survived by his children Robin Summers, Mark Eatherton, Rochel Leedham and Kelly Eatherton; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children.
