Cleo May Hall

Cleo May (Smith) Hall of Colton died Oct. 7, 2013. She was 70. She was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Harold and Phyllis Smith.

She graduated from Gervais High School in 1961. She married Carson Hall on July 14, 1962. She and her husband, have lived in Colton since 1973.

Cleo was the owner of Green Mountain Heather, a plant nursery in Colton; the Hall Closet, a store in Molalla; and she worked as a massage therapist. She enjoyed gardening, appliqué quilting, sewing, antiquing and camping. She was an entrepreneur, extremely creative, vivacious, the life of the party, an enthusiastic homemaker, loved the outdoors and love volunteering for her church. She was a member of Molalla Church of the Nazarene and the Heather Society.

She is survived by her husband, Carson Hall; daughters Rachel Hall, Gretchen Garcia, and Liesel Hall; 10 siblings; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 at the Molalla Church of the Nazarene.
