Lila Mae Oak Larson

July 6, 1922-Oct. 11, 2013-


Lila Mae Oak Larson died Oct. 11, 2013. She was 91.

She was born July 6, 1922 in Harlowtown, Mont., to William and Pearl Oak.

The family moved to Pleasant Home where she attended Orient Grade School and went on to graduate from Gresham High School. On May 30, 1941, she married Robert Larson.

After moving to Boring they settled in Beavercreek where they raised their three children. Upon retiring in 1977, they moved to a cattle ranch in Spray. After Mr. Larson was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 1995, they relocated to Colton to be close to family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; two sisters, Gertie and Margaret; and her brother, Clarence.

She is survived by her three children, Judy, Jim and Richard; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., Nov. 16, at Mountain Home Community Church located at 24522 S Elwood Rd., Colton, Ore. 97017. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
